2. Hosting and server logs

This site is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit, Vercel processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, requested URL, browser and operating system. This is needed to deliver the site securely and reliably. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a working website). Vercel may transfer data to the USA. Vercel is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and standard contractual clauses also apply. We have a data processing agreement with Vercel. Logs are deleted automatically after a short period.

3. Drop 01 newsletter (double opt-in)

When you join the list, we process your email address, the time of sign-up and confirmation, and your IP address at confirmation. After signing up you receive an email with a confirmation link. Only after you click it are you added to the list (double opt-in). This makes sure nobody signs up with someone else's address.

Legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time via the unsubscribe link in every email or by emailing us. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal. After you unsubscribe we delete your address, unless we need to keep proof of your earlier consent (Art. 6 (1) (c) and (f) GDPR).

We send emails with Brevo (Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany). Brevo stores data on servers in the EU and processes it on our behalf (Art. 28 GDPR). Brevo can measure whether an email was opened and which link was clicked. We only use this to improve our emails, not to build personal profiles.

4. Links to Instagram and TikTok

We link to our profiles on Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) and TikTok (TikTok Technology Ltd., Ireland). These are plain links, not embedded content. Only when you click a link are you taken to the provider's site, where its own privacy policy applies.

5. Sound and music on this site

Sound and music are off by default and only play if you turn them on. The files are served from our own server. No data is sent to third parties for this.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7 (3)). You can lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, for example the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information Baden-Württemberg.

7. Whether you have to provide data

Providing your email address is voluntary. Without it we cannot notify you about the drop.
